Detailed itinerary 

Day 1: Pick-up from Entebbe and Transfer to Accommodation in Kampala

On the first day, you will be picked up from Entebbe International Airport and transferred to your accommodation in Kampala, the capital city of Uganda. 

During the journey, you can relax and enjoy the scenic views of the countryside. Upon your arrival at the hotel, you will check-in and relax for the rest of the day, have dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Fly to Kidepo and Evening Game Drive 

On the second day, you will catch a flight to Kidepo Valley National Park, located in the northeast of Uganda. After arriving, you will check into your accommodation, and in the evening, go on a game drive. 

During the drive, you will have the opportunity to spot various wildlife species, including elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, and more. After the game drive, you will drive back to the lodge for dinner and over night stay.

Day 3: Morning Game Drive and Community Encounter of the Karamajong 

On the third day, after your breakfast, you will embark on a morning game drive, during which you will have another chance to spot wildlife and enjoy the beauty of the national park. 

In the afternoon after your lunch at the lodge, you will drive to the nearby local community to participate in a community encounter of the Karamajong, an indigenous tribe that lives in the area. 

During the encounter, you will have the opportunity to learn about their culture, customs, and way of life. After you will drive back to the lodge to relax, dinner will be served and spend a night. 

Day 4: Transfer Back to Kampala or Entebbe

On the final day, after your breakfast, you will embark on a journey after checking out of the accommodation and transfer back to either Kampala or Entebbe, where your 4-day Kidepo Valley Safari tour will come to an end.
